Understand your requirements and safeguards when travelling on behalf of the University

Insurance cover

You can access insurance arrangement information to aid with insurance procedure and policy that applies to University staff, students and property.

Public liability and personal indemnity

All students are covered for personal accident, public liability and professional indemnity if the activity is undertaken with the knowledge and consent of the University. Staff or students don't need to complete any paperwork in relation to this.

Travel

Staff on authorised University business travel and students on University approved travel can access travel insurance coverage.

Travelling and working overseas

The University has guidelines for travelling and working overseas.

Travel advice and information

Smartraveller and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) have travel advice, warnings and information regarding specific countries and territories.
