Session One: Learn and network

Date: Thursday 17 October 2019
Time: 4.15 – 6.15pm

RDCs seek to connect with you and collaborate on translational research that has immediate application to industry. They represent an opportunity for interdisciplinary research across Melbourne School of Engineering, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Science.

Seminar 1 will provide an overview of the RDCs, their respective priority areas and available funding pools.  Academic colleagues will share how they have successfully worked with RDCs. You will learn how to engage and maintain rapport with RDCs, to identify research opportunities and to develop successful proposals. Information on available administrative support from RIC and relevant contact persons will be provided for future reference.
