AI, autonomous vehicles and water security - here are the MSE stories appearing in the media this week.

  • Computing and Information Systems' Professor Rajkumar Buyya has been named the world's leading researcher in Computing Systems for 2019 in a recent issue of The Australian's Research magazine. Read more about the recipients the selection process here. [Internal use only]
  • Professor Uwe Aickelin wrote a piece for The Australian discussing how artificial intelligence was the new 'literacy challenge'. A republished version of this print article is available on Ingenium.
  • IT News featured the announcement of $3 million in funding for a collaborative project led by Professor Girish Nair aiming to develop the next generation of autonomous vehicles.
  • Sunraysia Daily have reported on a climate change adaptation grant awarded to Food Next Door Co-op which will fund a Community Water Bank.
