Request web updates, building access, keys, phones and signage, and report OHS hazards

  • Request web updates

    Use the Melbourne School of Engineering (MSE) web request form to request web changes to existing pages or new pages for any of the MSE websites.

    Complete  the MSE building access and phone relocations form to:

    • Obtain, change or reinstate swipe card access the MSE buildings
    • Obtain keys for doors, pedestals or other locations
    • Obtain a phone or request changes to phone functionality

    Use the MSE report a hazard form to report occupational health and safety hazards in your workplace.

    Provided by Infrastructure Services Maintenance.  Request changes to, or new, general signage and door name plates via the Service Request System: Maintenance Request function.

    For other  signage requests, complete the MSE building access and phone relocations form, selecting the ‘Request Details – Other’ checkbox and adding all relevant  details in the ‘Comments’ section

    The Melbourne School of Engineering e-Bulletin lists the latest news, opportunities, events, research and more. You can submit an item for inclusion.

  • Request to book rooms

    To book a room for a teaching subject

    Contact your departmental Teaching Liaison Coordinator (TLC).

    Check the ‘Academic Support’ section of the MSE Staff Directory to find out who your TLC is.

    To book a room for an event

    IT OHS has responsibility for event bookings in all EDS rooms.

    Lecture theatres or seminar rooms

    To book a lecture theatre or seminar room in any Engineering or University building visit the Venue Management website.

    EDS spaces

    To book an EDS space:

    1. Visit University Web Timetable to ensure your room of choice is available.
    2. Complete the MSE building access and phone relocations form, selecting the ‘Request Details – Other’ check box and adding all relevant details in the ‘Comments’ section.

    Once your request has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email.
