VaxFACTS website now available
Vaccination is key to getting out of the COVID-19 pandemic – it’s one of the most important tools we have to move to a more normal way of life.
Clear, concise, accessible and easy-to-understand public health messaging is critical in the ongoing battle against vaccine hesitancy and the spread of misinformation in the pandemic.
That’s why the University of Melbourne has launched its own website, VaxFACTS, featuring a series of simple videos aimed at the public to answer common questions and address concerns about COVID-19 vaccines in Australia.
The easy-to-understand videos available on the website feature University of Melbourne Associate Professor Margie Danchin, world-leader in vaccine uptake research, a consultant paediatrician at the Royal Children’s Hospital and a Clinician Scientist at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute.
This site has been created as a resource that enables the videos to be easily shared, safe in the knowledge that the material is up-to-date and delivered by world-leading experts.
We encourage all staff to watch these videos and share this website resource with friends, family and networks to help educate, inform and ultimately influence more people to get vaccinated.
