Importing, as it relates to biosecurity, is any movement of tangible goods from outside Australia into Australia.
- How do I search BICON?
How do I become a registered user of BICON?
To apply for a permit, you will need to become a registered user of the University of Melbourne's BICON account. There are two ways to do this.
You can email your full name to email@example.com and REI will organise your access to the University's BICON account.
Alternatively, you can self-register by requesting to join a multiple user account within BICON. Instructions for this can be found on the support page as a BICON ‘Task Card’. If you decide to register via this method, you will need to specify ‘The University of Melbourne’ as the organisation name and ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’ as the associated email.
