Biosecurity User Group (BUG)
How to access to the University's biosecurity network
Research Ethics and Integrity (REI) provides biosecurity updates, advice and ongoing support through this University-wide communication group. Email communications are provided in addition to three face-to-face meetings per year to provide the opportunity to discuss biosecurity (DAWR) requirements and compliance improvement across the University.
- meet others working in similar facilities in a supportive environment, where shared learning is encouraged
- receive updates directly from REI in relation to biosecurity matters and University management systems
- can initiate improvements in the processes of DAWR and the University
Any University personnel with DAWR responsibilities, such as Approved Arrangement Site (previously QAP) Managers/Contacts, interested in meeting to share containment knowledge and to provide feedback to REI on the support needed to improve biosecurity compliance are welcome to participate.
