All approved projects must submit an annual report
It is a condition of ethics approval at The University of Melbourne that researchers submit an annual report on the status of their project including progress to date, data management, and compliance with the approved protocol. Ethics approval will be renewed for the next calendar year on receipt of a satisfactory report.
Requests for annual reports are sent out by the Human Ethics office at the end of each year. Reports are required for all projects that are continuing in the next year, as well as those that were completed or abandoned in the present year. Failure to submit an annual report will mean that approval for the project will lapse.
