Complete the 'ATSI research' screen
If your research is likely to involve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants, complete the relevant screen
You must complete the research involving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) screen if your research involves likely ATSI participants on the research checklist.
To complete the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander screen:
- Tick to indicate you have read and applied the guidelines specified. You will be unable to submit your application unless this box is checked.
- Click to select whether you have or will establish a reference group to assist in the development of the project.
- Enter details regarding your answer. If yes, explain full details of membership to the reference group. If no, explain why the reference group/s have not been established
- Tick the methods of approval you have obtained from relevant community representatives.
- Enter details of approval (if applicable).
- Click ‘next’.
