Storage

Melbourne Connect features a range of storage options, from personal pedestals to team storage cupboards. Below is an outline of the types of storage available.

Lockers, coat cupboards, team storage and refresh points

Located conveniently at the entrance to the workspace area are custom-designed tall joinery that house personal lockers, coat cupboards, team storage, refresh points with filtered ZIP water taps, umbrella stands and rubbish bins. The joinery units are accessible from both sides, and their placement separates the corridor from the working environment.

Lockers

Each staff member will be allocated a personal locker near their work point. Personal lockers are 520mmH x 460mmW x 460mmD, are fitted with an adjustable shelf and are secured by a combination lock. They are positioned in the corridor facing away from open workspace ensuring minimal disruption.

Mobile under desk pedestals

In addition to a workspace locker,  personal and work items can also be stored in a two-drawer mobile under desk pedestal that is located under each workstation. Mobile under desk pedestals are 485mmH x 400mmW x 502mmD and can be secured with a key lock.

Fixed storage units

Teams with higher storage requirements can utilise the fixed storage units that are adjacent to all Type 1 workstations on the floor. These pull-out units are 1200mmH x 400mmW x 800mmD and can be secured with a key lock.  The units have three adjustable shelves and due to their height can provide privacy between workstations.
