The Superfloor
The Superfloor is a vibrant space offering a range of services including meeting and event spaces catering for formal meetings, informal catch ups, workshops, exhibitions, launches and events, and a café.

Event management
The Melbourne Connect event team is available to manage all technical and logistical elements of your event. They are able to offer or connect you with additional services and equipment as required, and can to act as the central point of contact for your event. The best place to start is by filling out a booking enquiry. Importantly, the event team will liaise with any other university services as needed, and ensure all elements such as security, cleaning, setup and pack down are organised for your event.
Event approvals
Prior to organising an event, you should follow all FEIT and UoM event processes. Details can be found here.
Meeting rooms
There are a number of meeting rooms on the Superfloor, all featuring state of the art technology.
- Control panel which turns on/off apps and switches between applications.
- In built Zoom App connected to high quality camera installed above plasma screen.
- Microphones and speakers installed integrated to work automatically with in built Zoom video conferencing and other apps.
- HDMI cable to connect laptop to screen.
- Wireless Share Screen presentation capacity, to wireless link computer to inbuilt plasma screen.
The Forum
A highly versatile space on the Melbourne Connect Superfloor, The Forum will host 400 people in a lecture type set up, 200 in a dining set up or be split into three smaller rooms with 100 person capacity for events such as seminars, presentations and workshops.
Facilities will rival those of a high-end purpose-built conference venue. The Forum looks into Science Gallery Melbourne’s atrium gallery, providing guests with access to beautiful displays of art and cultural installations.

The Studio
A high-traffic space with ground floor exposure at Melbourne Connect, The Studio will be a lively area hosting workshops and group activities, and a “war room” for project work. Visible to passers-by it will give a sneak peek into Melbourne Connect’s energetic and dynamic community.

The Launch Pad

The Launch Pad showcases a central open plan area to facilitate ideation and knowledge sharing between precinct tenants, the University, guests and the business sector. A dynamic space used for creating, prototyping, pitching and testing, it will be the hotspot of the Superfloor with an ever-changing canvas of events and activations.
